Earth Medicine


When sunlight permeates rainforest winter
and blackbirds ascend from violet bark,
soft clouds drift into ancient dragonflies 
moving like wind across the sky.

On those rare days
when the blue in the raven’s wings
shines in the light,
go through the open doors.
